Retrosynthesis is an indispensable and auxiliary technique used by chemists in assisting the organic synthesis of the
complex desired product. This study aims to teach high school students how to do retrosynthesis analysis for organic
molecules by considering the disconnection strategies, and basic approaches, for instance, fine-tuning & protecting
functional groups and fundamental principles when doing the analysis. It also involves some techniques that could apply
to a specific pattern, such as deoxygenation. Two complex molecules are given as samples, and their retrosynthesis will
be exploited.
